Nesters are metal holders (new, and repurposed) filled with warm and water repellent llama fibre for native birds to safely gather for their nest building. The fibre is usually used on the inside of the nests, creating warmth and softness for raising of young.

Measuring approximately 8 x 14cm, this nester comes with twine to hang in your location of choice.
I have two fibre colours in this nester. There is fibre of a contrasting colour on the inside. This will help you to see when the birds begin to use the nester. First it will become a little fluffy and as they use it more, the second fibre colour will begin to show.

The fibre has been processed to make it easier for the birds to gather strands.
Please note that due to the raw state of the llama fibre, this product may contain small amounts of vegetable matter.
