Children can support backyard birds at nest building time by providing natural nesting material for them to collect.
Watching visiting birds collecting the fibre to line their nests may help children to take an interest in and understand the birds and their nesting activity in their local area.

Choose the colour of the nester and fibre you would like.

Nesters measure approximately 6cm (2.5") and come with twine to hang in your location of choice.

The little nesters are filled with warm and water repellent llama fibre. The fibre is hand opened with a picker to make it safer and easier for the birds to remove.

Llama fibre bird nesters contain llama fibre from the llamas of Fox Hill. Fox Hill is a small family run llama stud situated in beautiful Marradong Country, Western Australia. After shearing, the hair left over from my fiber processing is collected and used to make these unique bird friendly gifts.
