Gift Boxed, Native Bird Nester, Alpaca Fibre, Small Nester, Wedding favor, Country Wedding Decor, Nesting Material, Gardener Gift, Xmas Gift

A$16.00

A lovely gift for a gardener who wishes to attract native birds.

These little cages hold alpaca fibre for native birds to gather for their nest building.

Nesters are filled with warm and water repellent alpaca fibre.

Measuring approximately 2.5" x 3.5", they come with twine to hang in your location of choice.

This nester will be packaged in a box suitable for gifting.

The fibre is picked so that the birds can easily remove the strands that they require. Once they have found the nester, they tend to return often.

My alpaca fibre bird nesters contain fibre from Western Australian alpacas. I purchase the fibre from local farmers to make a small range of felted rugs and the fibre left over from my rug making process is used to make these nesters. The fibre is unwashed and will contain small amounts of debris that has remained in the fibre. This is very attractive to the birds as it is in it's natural state, only altered to make it easier for the birds to gather.

Please note that due to the raw state of the alpaca fibre, this product may contain small amounts of vegetable matter and while the birds love this, it may not be suitable to post to your location. Please only order if you are confident the product is suitable for entry to your country.
